The Lafitte table lamp, finished in distressed gold, comes from the Gilded Nola range and is inspired by styles from New Orleans. The lamp is woven from tubular steel rods set into a rich mocha brown base and topped by a simple cream linen shade. The overall effect is both sculptural yet transparent, maximising the light from the bulb while providing a bold and elegant design statement. The transparency imparts a gay and intriguing sense of motion to the piece as you walk around the room. The Lafitte is definitely a table lamp designed to be seen.
