The leaves are soon followed by fully double, rich pink coloured flowers that can reach 3.5cm wide, you'll see the first blooms in late spring that last into summer. This tree is trained as a straight 'lollipop stem' variety and would look great in a small garden or patio. These flowering cherry trees can be grown in almost any soil, so long as it is moist and/or well drained and full of organic nutrients - ideal for clay, chalk, loam or sandy soils. It needs plenty of sunlight to develop so be sure to plant in a fully sunny position in the garden. Once established, these trees become fairly low maintenance.
